Untitled for Others 3 – The Forecast

Heart disentangled. Emotions strangled.

Slowly shuffling below a canopy of steel grey

Where ice cold droplets fall and splash as they hit the floor.

Heart in divorce. No emotional remorse.

Clouds billow and buffet above the Earth

And a rivulet of salt tears traces a line as it crosses the cheek.

Stomach devoid. Nerves raw and annoyed.

Globe of light nervously questions ‘too soon?’

As golden sunbeams queue up to dance brightly across the void.

And where sun meets shower a band appears that is out of reach

But raises spirits, gladdening the senses when life gets out of hand.

Heart pounding. Senses astounding.

Colours mingle, fading like a dream in the heavens above.

An iridescent intangible bridge beckoning you to an uncertain future.

The rain clouds disperse and the sun smiles benevolently

It’s never too soon to start again

However uncertain the future maybe

From beyond the rainbow hear its voice softly call.
