She flicked casually through the photocopies. She had
specifically agreed to acting as the executor providing that she received
payment for it. It had suited her and it had suited him. As she drained the cut
glass wine glass she thought about that.
She toyed with the idea that somehow Patrick had known that
he would die young. Her memory went back in time to when he was alive and he
had pleaded with her to take on the role. It was money for old rope – of course
she would do it. Just sit back and wait for the day when she cashed in for
signing a couple of papers.
