They looked round the room. Pat remembered it. Nothing
seemed to have changed. The curtains draped from ceiling to floor. The
wide-angle TV provided a black hole in the corner. The sofa, aged brown leather
that made you sink into it, smiled invitingly. The mantlepiece, over the
genuine fireplace, displayed a range of photographs.
Julie picked up a photo from the mantlepiece. Her eyes widened.
