Untitled for Others 6 – Moonbeam
Dance for me moonbeam
I have seen the day
Sheltering in his carboard city.
Dance for me moonbeam
He has had his day
Isolated between pain and pity.
Dance for me moonbeam
He will endure fresh lodgings
meeting targets of the housing subcommittee.
Dance for me moonbeam
For at night, listless and silently they huddle
Where prying eyes cannot see the pretty
Or the ugly or the bad or the lonely or the sad.
Dance for me moonbeam until the moonlight gives way.
Dance for me sunbeam, the solitude of another hungry day.
