Earth

Third to the left as you leave the sun
Spinning on its axis just for fun.
Oblate spheroid from pole to pole
Bloated tummy from rock and roll.
Slippery inner and crusty core
What happens above is very hard core.
Cross the line, cross the Moho
Cross the mainstream and the Boho.
What draws us to you? Magnetic field?
What force of nature makes us yield?
Gravity gives weight to the anticipation
That we are living in a grave situation.
Third to the left as you leave the sun
What will we do when it is gone?
