Writers do many more things than write

Everyday offers a new perspective on something or other. This week its getting ready to go to the West Highlands, a second home. Really looking forward to a change in temperature, scenery and perspectives - several degrees colder heading north. So what to take? Will I want to put fingers to keyboard? Probably not so will take paper and pen instead, plus other writers work to enjoy and also wrestle with, variety is good. How many books to take and do I buy that Kindle that everyone keeps telling me I will LOVE! Yes to books No to Kindle and I'm heading off.
