Why do say

When alone
you live in a bubble
Why do say
that you desire me?
When making
plans just leads to more trouble
Why do say
that you want me?
When being
wanted has a price on its head
Why are we
playing these games?
When all too soon we’ll be dead

shouldn’t we be honest?
When the
time is so short
Why don’t we
just be honest?
When lies
only distort
Let’s tell
the truth and show compassion
Let’s quell
the youth of it’s misplaced passion
And just be good
friends.
