Holding down the timetable.
When did she leave?
Was she alone?
Factor 10, neglected sun lotion –
Apply when sunbathing
And always prior to dipping in ocean.
Did he go with her?
Are they an item?
Beach towel tossed aside
Brightly coloured and fluffy
Loudly anticipating the seaside.
Once they were lovers
And maybe once more?
Sex on the Beach or cocktail that’s muddled?
There they are now - look poolside
In a group they are huddled.
Is it a cert?
Can we be sure?
Side by side their sunbeds align
Now they are married,
Happy wedding group in sunshine.
